SPOD sends nine CSIN educators to three intensive courses in Türkiye, in data protection, media literacy and digital inclusion, and turns what they learn into new disinformation-resilience training inside the foundation's own adult-education programmes. An Erasmus+ staff-mobility project: capacity built abroad, brought back to the learners who need it most.

01Why this, why now

THREE GAPS. ONE TEAM.

CSIN teaches adults to stay safe and clear-headed online. SPOD closes the three gaps that decide whether that teaching still holds up: data security, media literacy and inclusion.

Data security

Privacy is the precondition

You cannot teach vulnerable adults to trust digital tools if the tools leak their data. CSIN educators need current, hands-on practice in encryption, data protection and privacy-first tools before they can pass any of it on.

Media literacy

The threat moves faster than the curriculum

AI-generated disinformation and deepfakes change month to month. An educator who last trained in media literacy years ago is teaching an out-of-date playbook to exactly the people the manipulation is aimed at.

Inclusion

Resilience that actually reaches everyone

Older, rural and economically disadvantaged learners are the most exposed to manipulation and the least served by generic digital training. Reaching them is a design skill, and it has to be built on purpose.

THREE COURSES. NINE EDUCATORS.

Nine educators travel in three cohorts of three, each cohort a separate seven-day course, rotating so the foundation keeps running. City and exact dates are being finalised with the host.

AProgramme designers · 3 educators

Data protection and secure learning spaces

Encryption, GDPR in practice, and privacy-first tools such as Signal and ProtonMail. How to build a digital learning environment that keeps adult participants safe by default.

Brings back · Secure-environment playbook · Trainer confidence

BGroup educators · 3 educators

Media literacy and disinformation

Source analysis, spotting manipulation and deepfakes, and the methods to teach critical media skills to adult groups who did not grow up online.

Brings back · Workshop scenarios · Deepfake-spotting drills

CInclusion coordinators · 3 educators

Digital inclusion for adults with fewer opportunities

Adapting digital-resilience training for older, rural and economically disadvantaged learners, so the material lands with the people who need it most.

Brings back · Inclusive delivery model · Accessible materials

03Participants · Staff of CSIN

WHO GOES, AND HOW WE CHOOSE.

A staff-mobility project is only as good as the people it sends and what they do on return. Selection is transparent, weighted toward the learners who need the most, and tied to a commitment to pass the training on.

  • Nine members of CSIN staff, in three cohorts of three, chosen through a transparent points-based process run by the coordinator and the president.

  • At least three participants with fewer opportunities, one in each cohort.

  • Priority for staff who work directly with adult learners and who have no prior mobility experience.

  • Each candidate submits a motivation letter with a concrete plan for using the training, and commits to run a transfer workshop after returning.

WHAT COMES BACK.

The mobility is the means. The point is what changes at home: sharper educators, new materials in the permanent offer, and open resources anyone can reuse.

  1. Nine educators raise their digital-security and media-literacy competencies.

+60% on the DigiComp 2.2 self-assessment, measured within 12 months.

  2. A digital-resilience training set of at least five ready-to-run scenarios enters CSIN's permanent offer.

Embedded in at least 3 standing programmes within 6 months of return.

  3. The materials publish as Open Educational Resources on EPALE, in Polish and English.

    Free to reuse beyond CSIN.

  4. Every participant receives a Europass Mobility document.

Formal, portable recognition of the learning.

05Delivered by

TWO ORGANISATIONS.

CSIN sends and prepares the team and owns the transfer at home. Monad Institute hosts and delivers the courses.

CSIN · Caucasian Social Innovation Network

Gliwice, Poland · Beneficiary

A young foundation of experienced practitioners in information resilience and digital competence. CSIN selects and prepares the nine educators and runs the transfer of what they learn into its adult-education programmes.

Monad Institute

Türkiye · Host organisation

The receiving organisation, chosen from five candidates across four countries. Monad delivers the three structured courses that make up the mobility.
